‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
not a learner was clicking a single mouse.
The training was completed, and computers sat bare
in hopes that a new eLearning course soon would be there.

The employees were nestled all snug in their chairs,
while visions of matching terms danced together in pairs.
The trainer in her Santa hat, and I in my cap

With eLearning so great, who could dream of a nap?

When out in the break room there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my desk to see what was the matter.
Away from the spreadsheets I flew like a flash,

And tore open the workbook that was tossed in the trash.

The lessons inside fell like flurries of snow
I just wish I had a computer course to increase what I know.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
but a ThinkingKap Learning course to make all things clear.

With a great team on board, so lively and smart,
I knew in a moment this must be their art.
More rapid than eagles, their courses they came,
and they whistled and shouted and called them by name:

“Now Siemens! Now SalesForce!
Now, cultural training course!
On, certification! On, HIPAA!
Make like a skippa!
To the top of the porch!
To the top of the wall!
Now teach away! Train away!
Educate them all!”

As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
when they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky
so up to the house-top the courses they flew,
with the sleigh full of lessons, and ThinkingKap, too.

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
the prancing and pawing lessons and proof.
As I drew in my head and was turning around,
down the chimney ThinkingKap came with a bound.

The team was dressed in fur, from head to foot,
and their clothes were all tarnished with knowledge and soot.
A bundle of eLearning they had flung on their backs,
they looked like peddlers just opening their pack.

Their eyes were like stars, their brains full and merry!
Their courses were so sweet, like the juice of a cherry!
They packaged their courses like presents with bows,
and their communication skills were as pure as snow.
Upon completing a course, I grinned showing teeth,
because lessons came full-circle, much like a wreath.
I’d never seen a course that didn’t make me yell-y
but this stuff was good, not crappy like jelly.

I realized I’d learned—I just couldn’t help,
their approach made me smarter in spite of myself.
It made sense now, what contest judges said
Their courses were simply nothing to dread.

From the second they were contracted, they started to work,
and met all course objectives without being a jerk.
And as any smart trainer simply knows
ThinkingKap Learning is the place she should go.

Then they sprang to their sleigh, when given a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard them exclaim, ‘ere they drove out of sight,

“Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”
